Anthony J. Monkcom MSCP Grad Dip Phys BMAS

I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1980 following my training at West Middlesex University Hospital London. Subsequently in 1983, I trained at The Centre for the Study of Complementary Medicine in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Auricular Therapy and Electro Acupuncture.

I worked at a number of London teaching Hospitals, including Charing Cross Hospital London, Heatherwood & King Edward VII Hospital, Windsor before establishing myself in private practice in Surrey and soon afterwards in Harley Street, London.

Over the past 30 years I have become increasingly interested in an Holistic and Global approach to the care and management of my patients.

Extensive training in Functional Medicine and the use of a multi faceted treatment approach enables me to achieve positive results with my patients where they have previously been resistant to conventional single modality therapy alone. The Natural Screening Centre is my busy Harley Street practice, specialising in Physiotherapy, Acupuncture and Integrated Medicine. Experience has taught me that effective treatment and management of health problems can only be achieved by careful assessment, establishing an accurate diagnosis, leading to individual treatment regimes for each of my patients. When you come to see me, you can therefore be assured of being given time, enabling me to really listen to your needs.

Through accurate assessment and application of safe, effective and where appropriate, natural therapy, I work in partnership with my patients, using individually tailored treatment plans for their needs in order to achieve optimum overall health and a balance of Physical, Emotional and Nutritional well being.
